In the year 2000, Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist, Joe Sorrentino formed a band called "Soulacious" which was known for it's pop/rock sound. Over the years his band underwent several band member changes so in 2009, Sorrentino decided to make a fresh start. He decided to re-establish the sound and direction of the band to modern rock and hard rock and changed the name of the band to "Central Ave." By 2013, with a new sound and new band members, the band felt their band name was too generic and needed a more original sounding name to better represent themselves. The band changed their name one last time to "Twenty Past Two." The new album "Believe in Something" is the perfect blend of what all previous band projects represented. There are 11 total tracks including the edgy new rock songs Bitter, Reflection, Proud World, Two Worlds, We Will Revive and Shattered Glass. Additionally, the album also contains new and improved modern rock versions of the classic pop/rock songs, Every Road, Am I Wrong, Fearless Rider, Drifter and Dancing All Around, which were also songs featured on the bands first album "Find A Way". The new album "Believe in Something" features Joe Sorrentino on vocals, bass, rhythm and lead guitar. The album also features the lead guitar work and bass lines of former band mates, Victor Negreiros and Les Bueno. Drums and additional song arrangements were recorded by former band mate George Kevin Hynes. The album was self produced and recorded by Joe Sorrentino at his home studio in Needham MA. Assistant recording was done by Les Bueno and the album was mixed and mastered by Victor Negreiros. The album is available now on www.CDbaby.com
